Massive news: Codatech is officially ISO 27001 certified!
British Assessment Bureau confirmed on 16th November 2023 that we’ve been assessed and certified for the provision of payroll, invoicing and billing solutions to employers throughout the UK.
This means we’ve attained the international gold standard for information security, taking every possible measure to achieve maximum safety and compliance.
What is ISO 27001?
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) sets out global standards for security, and ISO 27001 is one of them.
It sets out requirements for businesses to minimise data risks and ensure the highest level of information security. Almost all processes within a business are audited, including everything from onboarding and offboarding to staff training, as well as IT systems.
As part of this, an information security management system (ISMS) must be in place (in other words, a documented process for managing data).
This gives a 360 view to ensure security by design.
Why it matters
As a software company, it’s essential that everything we do follows security best practice.
Being ISO 270001 certified means we’ve optimised our approach to information security and received independent endorsement to prove it.
By extension, Codapay and Codabill have met the highest internationally recognised standard.
As we deal with large volumes of payslips and timesheets each week, this extra level of reassurance is *huge* for our clients.
And not to forget, we’re also Cyber Essentials certified!
